Pempek or empek-empek is one of favorite dishes from Palembang, South Sumatra ,Indonesia.

Pempek made from raw materials processed fish with flour with a variety of unique shapes. There are many shapes of pempek such as kapal selam (submarine), lenjer, adaan (ball) and etc. Usually, pempek is served by a sauce made of dilute vinegar sauce and sugar. yellow noodles and pickled cucumber make pempek be a favorite food to be enjoyed by food lovers.
