RENDANG PADANG (BEEF RENDANG)



Rendang is the cuisine of meat that has a spicy sensation which uses a mixture of various herbs and spices. Rendang can be found at Padang Restaurant in the whole world. This cuisine is popular among the people of Indonesia and other countries in Southeast Asia, such as Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, the Philippines, and Thailand.


Beef Rendang


Rendang is cooked by heating it over and over with coconut milk. Cooking process takes many hours (usually about four hours) to dry and solid black. Need a very patient person to be Able to cook rendang. If you're not a patient type of person, try to cook it slowly or ask the experts hahahaha :p

PEMPEK "THE HOT" FISH CAKE FROM PALEMBANG







Pempek or empek-empek is one of favorite dishes from Palembang, South Sumatra ,Indonesia.

Pempek with yellow noodle and pickled cucumber, so hot isn't it? :p

Pempek made ​​from raw materials processed fish with flour with a variety of unique shapes. AYAM PENYET ( FLATTENED FRIED CHICKEN)

Fried Chicken or Ayam Goreng ? It is so mainstream, this is AYAM PENYET made from fried chicken that flattened using "ulekan"  means pestle and mortar that covered with special spicy sauce.


Usually, AYAM PENYET is served together with tofu and tempe (fermented soybean). Do not forget cucumber and basil as salad. Looks yummy right ;9

In Malaysia , we can get this easily at every Indonesian restaurant in Malaysia.We found one Indonesian restaurant that served this delicious AYAM PENYET , it is Waroeng Penyet.



Waroeng Penyet that admin visited at NU Sentral Mall (yeah, that is new mall near KL Sentral), they are served delicious ayam penyet with two kinds of chili sauce, mild sauce and hot sauce. And admin choice hot sauce is number one !

MADURA CHICKEN SATAY AS ITS BEST


Madura chicken satay is obviously come from Madura, Indonesia. Satay is one of Indonesian favorite cuisine that is known well all over the world.

Lontong

Satay is made up with peanut sauce or ketchup sauce and served along with the compressed-rice-cake called lontong. What lontong actually is, you can see more here. But Indonesian people often replace lontong with the rice.

Satay served with several variant of meats such as lamb, chicken, or beef. And also fried onions are poured above the Satay.

In Malaysia, we can meet this cuisine at Kuala Lumpur located at Jalan Kayu Ara (behind TV3 1 Utama) Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It costs 60 cents for chicken satay per stick, 80 cents for lamb satay per stick, and 70 cents for beef per stick in Ringgit Malaysia. This place also selling other Indonesian cuisine such as Mie Aceh, Nasi Goreng Aceh, and Bakso.
